Who here has performed the Cobra 13" brake upgrade? I need brakes pretty badly; I'm vibrating when braking from high speeds, so obviously, my rotors are warped. Because of my mods and future plans, I will require larger brakes.

The Discbrakes R Us kit is WAY overpriced. $700? Please. However, I may just order their larger rotors since they come drilled for our hubs. If I order the rotors from Ford, I'll end up wasting money on machine work anyway.

Now, I've been doing some research and found that one of the calipers, specifically the passenger side, needs some kind of milling or machine work to fit. So what is deal with that, and what kind of work needs to be done to fit the Cobra caliper on the Mark?

Any information, particularly those with pictures and instructions, is greatly appreciated. Also, any links or sellers who carry the parts for a good price will also help.

Thanks.

When you compare brake packages from different vendors , I think you'll find Discbrakesrus.com the cheapest, he's cheaper than Bill @ supercoupeperformance, besides Discbrakesrus has a QUALITY product & you won't have to pay shipping cuz they're in Whitman Ma. I was shocked to find out they're in the next town over from me. How can you put a price on your life, go with Discbrakesrus you won't be disappointed. Oh, they'll powdercoat your rotors and calipers any color you want, I had mine done in the chrome, check out customers photo gallery there!!! gl

Are you getting the rears too, total for mine were 1365, thats including powder coating calipers & rotors. Let me know when your going , I'll meet you. pm me when your going. The owners name is Tom Reid, he's a great guy, very helpful too....

Perform a search I listed where to get Cobra lines, calipers (loaded), and rotors a little while ago for $450.

The one from Performance Parts, Inc? Do you have a web site link?

total for mine were 1365

Damn! I do plan on bigger rears, but I'm not paying that, not even for all four! I'll be shopping around for sure...

When doing a brake upgrade and you want to change your spindles to the mustang, what all is needed to perform the job? I want to do this flawlessly with no problems.

All you need are the spindles for the Mustang. See this thread...
