Selling a set of Sport Edition A7(AKA ASA JH3) wheels in decent shape.

Had these originally as my winter wheels but i couldn't pass up the deal i got on my Tucanas. They have some cosmetic damage so ever since Bull's winter look thread i've been dying to get my hands dirty and refinish these to get a look something like this: (I think Bronze/gold looks sick on black!)

However, as it is a time consuming task, i thought i'd see if anyone is interested in them as they are before i start working on them.

2 Rims have slight bends in the inner lips but i ran them in the back of my LS with no problems. Some Curb Rash.

Specs:
Size:18x8
Offset: ET48
Finish: Silver

They come with hubcentric rings.

WILL TAKE ACTUAL PICS TONIGHT AFTER MY EXAM.

Asking $210 OBO

You wheel whore.

How about my shipping quote for that one 5-spoke stocker?

Lol yea but i drive/park on it all the time bc its in front of my house so i know its safe, but either way there was no weight on it, the jack was holding up the car at the time, i put the stand just in case.

what curb rash?

Filled in and sanded down all the rash...

Ready for a 400 grit sanding tomorrow, then filler primer, hopelly ill get them done before the Superbowl!

What color are you going to paint them?

Nice work on the wheels and im surprised you couldn't get rid of them at $210 i would be all over them if they were 19'' :(

The new owner will be putting the final touch, in other words the color.

Yea i thought they would go much quicker but oh well i got the chance to work on them, which is what i wanted...they're basically sold now :D

I'm doing the plasti dip gunmetal with glossifier. Should look good when all is said and done.

And mlara, the wheels look great. Thanks for putting the effort into these, so I don't have to.

Looking forward to getting them painted and installed.

Well, I needed to get my winter tires off, since it was getting a bit warm here in Cleveland... ended up just getting wheel paint (as you can see in my post above)

Rustoleum High Performance Wheel Paint... Graphite Metallic with a few coats of clear.

More pictures once the sun comes out.

Wow those came out great. Darker than what they seemed in the first pic. Do you like them like that?

Couple of suggestions:
-get rid of the chrome pillars lol
-and get those center caps on :D

They are a bit lighter in person. I'm debating what to do with the pillars. The black underneath looks terrible. May sand/bondo/paint the OEM pillars. My dad has the Same wheels (in 17s) as his BMW winter wheels and got the BMW caps, so I put his Sport Edition caps on for now while I do my custom caps.

I'll throw pics into my paint opinion thread tomorrow of the caps

Bull said he wanted to do a shoot soon... I'll get something set up. Would've had more pics today, but again, it was overcast. I did get a chance to wash the car. Hopefully it stays relatively clean for the next few days.

Mlara, thanks again for all the prep work you did - without it, I don't know if I would have found the time to finish these.
