I’ve got a mysterious intermittent problem involving the turn signals and moon roof on my 1985 Town Car. Seems weird, I know, but at times when I start the car, the turn signals often don’t work. When that happens, the moon roof won’t work either. After driving for a while, often it’ll all start working. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes, others 20-30 minutes or even more. But If I stop the car, to go into a store for instance, when I come back out they’re not working again.

The fact that it’s intermittent indicates that it’s not a fuse. I can’t imagine an “iffy” connection of some sort that would involve the signals and moon roof. Can’t even imagine why those two things would be on the same circuit! Typically in the past on any car I’ve had, when I’ve had a turn signal problem, replacing the flasher would solve it, no matter how bizarre the problem was. But I can’t imagine the flasher would have any affect on the operation of the moon roof.

I’m stumped! Anyone have an idea?
