Let me start by apologizing for the volume of information in this ad. This car has had an enormous amount of work and modifications done to it.
Engine: 1989 5.0 short block (Mustang) rebuilt from the block up including forged crank and pistons, 1993 GT40 cylinder heads, graphite head gaskets, 1:7 Crane Roller Rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM upper and lower intake manifolds, Steel Stamped tall valve covers, Hooker Super Comp equal length shorty headers, Steeda adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Taylor battery relocation kit (trunk-mounted), fender-mounted cold air kit, 70mm throttle body and EGR spacer, MSD Blaster Coil, MSD Cap and Rotor, 120 amp alternator, power steering pump. Let me reiterate: all parts are new or rebuilt. New exhaust from collectors to tailpipes including 2.5” Mac H-pipe and mild turbo mufflers. In addition, all gaskets, fluids, hoses, and wiring were replaced with new components.
Transmission: Rebuilt Ford/Lincoln AOD transmission, shift kit, trans cooler, and new torque converter. All new lines, seals, and fluid.
New 3 row aluminum radiator, Taurus 2 speed electric fan (4000 cfm), new radiator hoses.
Suspension: Front K member from low mileage 1990 Cobra, Mustang lower control arms, new control arm bushings, new ball joints, DNA Motorsports 1.5” lowering springs (front and rear), Energy Suspension front and rear spring isolation kit, new rack and pinion unit (Mustang 87-93), new inner/outer tie rods, Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates, new KYB G2 front struts, new KYB G2 rear shocks, tubular upper and lower rear control arms w/poly bushings, new front calipers, rotors, ceramic pads, new master cylinder, proportioning valve, all new brake lines, new backing plates for rear drums, new 5 lug rear drums, new shoes, hardware, and wheel cylinders, new U-joints, 5 lug 28 spline SVO forged axles.
The car shows about 109k on the odometer. The car has about 2000 miles since everything was rebuilt/replaced. The Kuhmo tires are like new (2000 miles). I did not build the car; the gentleman who did lost his job and needed to move on. Since I have had it, the entire dash was pulled out. A new heater core, blower motor and evaporator were installed. He had pulled all of the AC components out. I purchased a Mustang upgrade kit and reinstalled everything but the compressor and the lines; they will be included with the car. In addition, a new battery was installed, new gas tank, sending unit, and all gaskets. I am sure that I am forgetting a few details here and there. Short of the paintwork, nearly everything on this car has been upgraded and/or replaced. The entire underside of the car was stripped with a wire wheel and undercoated. The engine bay was also stripped clean and repainted black.
The paint on the car is mediocre at best. Someone tried to paint clear over spots that were thin and flaking. It needs paint to stand out. The interior is in great shape; I would recover the front seats and call it a day. I also installed a Kenwood CD player and kept the JBL speakers and amp in the car.
I have a few other projects that need attention so the Lincoln must go. I am looking for cash, but I am willing to listen if you have a trade. If you are suggesting a trade, give me a clear sense of what you have and include pictures if you expect a response. Feel free to reach me at r1150gs.kpg@gmail.com or at 317-442-5199. I am asking $6850 and I live on the south side of Indianapolis. Thank you!

Josh,

Thank you for your questions. Forgive me, but as I mentioned in the ad, I did not build the car. Quite frankly, I know just enough about it to be dangerous. This is the primary reason I want to find it a new home. My brother (Ford ASE tech) was kind enough to help me get it running but has since moved back west. I don't know about the MAF; I would guess that the cam is fairly mild based on the way that it idles. The car came with 4 full pages of parts and mods. Some of them were finished; some of them were planned. My parts list says that the wheel is from a 90 LSC while the rack and pinion is from the Mustang that was a primary source for many other pieces. The horn, airbag, and cruise control are presently inoperative.
I wish that I had more information to share with you. I have been a lurker on this forum for the last few months. I would love to keep the car but I have spent a couple grand getting it to this point. I am out of funding and would prefer to find someone who can enjoy it for what it is. Thanks!
