I'm not sure if it's the same but I have a 1985 AM/FM Cassette Player that came out of my Mark VII.

Thank you - I'm not sure if its the same- I should investigate this further. I saw a 1989 radio manual on this site somewhere which I'll take a look at. WIll get back with you if I want it..okay?

85 not the same. 85 is probably common ground. You can get an 89 TC radio out of any ford vehicle between 88-94 tbird, cougar, crown vic, F150 etc. But they have to be premium sound.

Why dont you put a new deck in, they are easy to install and sound a lot better than factory???

As far as the power windows, you are saying all windows but the drivers window work??? That could be the window lockout switch causing the problem also, go into further detail on that. The window motors are also easy to rebuild yourself if you get into that kind of stuff.
