1989 Thunderbird Super Coupe for sale, originaly a California car.
Father and Son project that never took off. Engine needs to be rebuilt, it has a rod knock. Before the rod issue, it ran like a Champ. It has a new: billet steel Harmonic Balancer, 2 ½ s to 3” to dual 2 ½ s w/ high flow Cats, Magna flow custom exhaust, Cam & Crank sensors, weather stripping, keyless touch pad, both cowl parts, front and rear window trim, windshield, headlight buckets, corner lights, shifter knob W/ B&M shifter, shocks, springs, strut rod bushings, end links, window motors (D/P sides), Spark plugs, wires, ignition module and ignition coil.
From the factory, 141k mi. Black on Black 5spd w/ ’89 only “hot Cam”, VMM, A/C (changed over to R-134a), power everything, wing, moon roof.
Also haves; Cold Air Induction, Cell phone (in car aftermarket type), Sony CDX-C7850 w/ remote & 10disc changer, Subwoofer, 17” Miglia 1000 wheels shod w/ BFG Comp TA P255/45ZR17s, cross drilled rotors, tinted windows, breezed through AZ emissions.
Interior looks surprisingly good for the year. Everything worked before taking the intake and valve covers off. This was done in an effort to prove the noise came from the bottom end. A local shop had done the timing chain two weeks before the engine gave up. Related? Maybe.
PM me about price, please.

Thanx, sure was and still is! I hate to get rid of it. For those of you who know HOAs, I live in one and have to many vehicles on my lot. I had to make a choice, either the Mark VIII, My Truck or the 'Bird. I'll flip the 'Bird. ( Pun intended.)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention; Newly installed Raxles half shaft on right side and Cup holders! Gotta have'm!
