1995 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4, 151,000 miles, but runs and drives flawlessly.
Its black, and fully loaded, 2 brand new keys just made, everything works as it should. I bought the truck back in May to mod, I had a whole list of stuff I wanted todo to it, stuff like lowering it, rims, tinting the windows, murdering it out, getting the newer style rear hatch and taillights, dual exhaust, and blah blah so much more, but then reality hit and I remembered what I actually make per week haha.

The 4x4 works great, along with everything else, the interior is tan/beige, but I painted alot of it black, (accents if you wanna call it something) like the pillars, and handles and whatnot, which made the interior look so much better.

The only problems are that the windshields cracked, and the power steering is loud, but if you throw in an extra 55$ I have a brand new pump I bought and never tried putting it on, from laziness I guess haha. Theyre 80$ + the deposit for your old pump, so 55$ is good. I also have a starter I bought for it when I thought it needed one, because of the battery cable, which isnt new, but it works perfectly ill throw in if you buy the pump (60$ at your local yard) I also bought a fuel filter too that I never put in, I didnt know how.

The truck hasnt been plated, so its not my DD but I get it out every couple days or so and let it run for about 30 minutes and drive it around for a little, like I said im selling it because I dont have the money todo to it what I wanted, and kinda lost interest, and bought an LS, so I gotta pay that back.

About a month or 2 ago, the radiator was leaking into the transmission, but we replaced the radiator, and did a "home" transmission flush with about 8 gallons of brand new tranny fluid, and put all new coolant in the radiator too.

4x4 works perfectly too, dont know if I mentioned that.

The pictures do it no justice, and yea it was kind of dirty still when i took pics, but its alot cleaner now lol.

Im asking 2900$ which is less than what they want for "Good" on KBB, and is a good deal, if you buy it for 2900$ ill throw in the pump, starter, and fuel filter free.

Post any questions you might have about anything I might have forgotten on here and ill be glad to answer your questions, im an honest person too, so im not making this thing sound any better than what it really is lol.

Thanks!

Eh, the money would be lovely, but I would consider a trade depending on what it is....whatcha got?

Got any pics and some more info? Any probs with it?

Yea man, like I said, I had a whole list of plans and mods todo to it, its a really great truck, dependable, good on gas, runs great, quiet, and the 4x4 is amazing too, but reality hit and I remembered how much I make an hour haha.

I spent over 100$ alone on just paint and clearcoat, I had the whole dash and everything out it was quite a project, I had a guy with a 2000 V6 LS who wanted to trade me but the trans went out and there were a couple other things he decided to tell me at the last minute so I had to pass lol.

ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION:

I have the dash kit for an aftermarket headunit in the center console, all you gotta do is buy the wire harness which is what about 10-15$ if that.

I saw an identical truck/listing on CL but the price is different as are some detail. Are you also listing there? Adds credibility if you stay consistent in your message. Also, avoid advertising the KBB values as everyone knows they're not reliable and no one truly pays KBB. It's a lot like MSRP for the used market. You'd probably have better luck without the reference. I tend to avoid listings where people put that info in. It tells me they're trying "too hard" and probably covering something up. Let the buyer do their own homework, IMHO. Also, ditch the pics that show the stains all over the interior or photoshop them down a bit. While the camera does tend to make them look worse, it takes away from the overall appearance of the truck. Tinted tails can do the same. Do you have the stock tails around? I'd slap those on if you do.

The black paint all over the place is not my cup of tea either but someone might like it. Try not to promote that mod as adding value because mods like that are very personal and limits who might buy it. You're probably chasing away potential buyers with that instead of attracting. The fact you spent $100 on paint means nothing. It's a sunk cost so don't assume it adds value because I feel it takes away from it. Obscure mods usually do.

Good luck with the sale. You've been sitting on this truck for a while so every little bit counts. Something about your listing just chases me away from the truck and not to it. I like Explorers too.

There arent any stains, my lens was dirty, and the tails are the stock ones...tinted.
