I have owned this car since it had 35,000 miles. It has been my daily driver. Car runs great.

Problems
ABS and Traction Lights is on. (Needs new wheel sensors)
Power Antenna doesn't work. (Someone went through the car wash with it up. Motor is still good though)
Passenger Window will go down but needs a little push going back up. (Will get this fixed if someone is interested in the car)
Passenger Side has a few marks on the body but not bad.(Pictured Below)
Chrome is peeling a little on the grill.
Console Lid is loose.
Headliner is starting to tear by the back window. (But not falling down by any means)

All in all it is a great car for the money.

You're pricing is a quite optimistic.
And don't worry, my comment isn't going to influence your sale. I'm not saying anything that everyone here who reads the thread isn't aware of.

Too much! A nice 98 can be had for $3800 or cheaper...just sayin:shifty: I would be interersted in the cobra r's if you don't sell them with the car.

Agreed. Mine could be had for less then that, 98LSC. Those aren`t Cobra R`s.

I believe that's why I put $3800 OBO. Only a starting point.

Hardest part when trying to sell here ... Most on the forum either have a Mark VIII or are looking for that great deal .... something above or beyond what they have.

Worse part is most have a very good idea of the actual selling price of a Mark VIII .. You have a nice car. Looks good and with some small effort that body damage could be fixed up.

Got to have the shields up and get ready for the critique when posting a car for sale members will point out the flaws to protect members (buyers). Got to remember that Most 98's are now going for about $3000-$5000 ... Gen I's you are looking at $1500 to $3000 ... $3000 would be top dollar a pristine car.

Members are also looking for that seal purchase ... not going to get top dollar here ...

this is not to seem insulting ... just an explanation to some of the post you'll get and why ...

The beauty and curse of this are is that you simply can't sell them for what they are worth- conversely, it's incredibly good value for dollar when buying them.

What I mean is, you simply can not replace a Mark VIII for what you can sell it for

They are really exceptional autos, especially when put in the proper 90s period perspective. But the market isn't reflecting that. It's incredible but a $14k Honda from the same year will now sell for MORE than the $40k Mark VIII of the same year.
