I just purchased a 1995 Seville SLS with 142k miles on it and the check coolant warning is staying on. I added a gallon jug of 50/50 coolant that is dexcool compatible and when my wife started to leave for work i noticed a steady drip of the new coolant coming from under the right front of the car. We have been watching the temperature closely and the highest it gets is 223 and then it drops back down to 216. Could i have overfilled the surge tank and caused the leak? There is no smoke at all from the engine and the only other problem is the AC doesn't seem to work. I think it may just need freon but i have limited income atm to have a shop repair it for me. Any suggestions on what to look for ?

ok found the leak. Crack in the upper right of the radiator. Put some Prestone sealant in and it's stopped. Yay. Now to figure out the A/C issue. It's hot and the compressor rattles. Hopefully it's just low on freon or something simple. :shifty:
