So i'm putting it up for sale, $3750, mods in sig. 108,000 miles... almost $15,000 invested into it, can not pass smog so my loss is your gain.

Sucks you can't skate smog, really disheartening to have something rather trivial be such a roadblock.
 
Price is not negotiable, it's the lowest price I would go for LVC forum members only. Screw-Rice, the trade is a nice offer but I really don't think it is feasible. How would you do an out of state trade without risking the possibility of getting ripped off? PM me with details if you know...
 
If you still have this in a month, I may be interested. But really looking for a black on black.
 
Dumb question, but is this street legal? I'm asking cause of the drag radials (and my own ignorance) more then anything else...
 
Why can't you pass smog? visual or tailpipe? If it's visual then I might know a place that will pass you.

You can't either install the EGR or temporarily reinstall the stock intake?

I don't have any cats, so I would have to buy 3 cats which by itself I would be willing to do but having to buy the cobra egr tube and valve, then have to tune it, and then it still wouldn't be 100% california legal because of the intake manifold... it's a lot of time and work. I originally took off the cats because one of the cats got clogged and the car wouldn't run...
 
Well, that's a shame, it's a beautiful car, good luck with the sale.
 
The emissions program in the county I live in isn`t much better than yours. It`s not statewide here in Illinois.
 
No cats would be hard to smog. It's really hard to find a guy that will conveniently have another car right next to yours during an inspection, but sometimes for $100 it happens...

It does happen. Ask around locally man, you can probably find a way to pass...

I know what you mean. I drove out of state for my LS. I don't know why people aren't willing to spend some time and money to either get the car they want or to save a bundle of cash. To each their own I guess.

I just can't up and fly all the way across the USA and not know what I'm going to see. If it's all good, cash is in hand ready to buy but all I have seen is the rear passenger side quarter and black wheel.

I'm sure it's a nice car but I don't like flying unless it's worth flying for. I wouldn't know if I'm flying there for the near $15K in mods with a dented, faded body and worn out interior or really a clean car.

I see your point, sometimes the interior is great and sometimes it's falling apart and it seems to have nothing to do with year or mileage.

The car is clean, i'm still holding out a little bit to see if I can get it passed smog so i'm not gonna post pictures until I know for sure.

10-4 and I can't say that I can blame you. I'd try to figure out a way to keep it too. If it comes down to it and you decide to sell, please get some pics up because I do have cash ready for your hand and I will fly to the closest airport to you. Hopefully, you can get it passed. I wouldn't wish a loss like that on anyone. I'm just wondering why you weren't prepared for something like this. Puzzles me but there could be something that I'm missing out on.
