20" Rims HELP

hi, I was looking into putting 20' rims on my 05 LS. I've seen pictures of other peoples LS's and i didnt like the fact that the wheel sticks out past the fender. Is that because the offset is wrong? and does anyone know the correct offset?. I already lowerd my car 1" all around and if anyone has done the same and put 20's on it I would love to get some feedback on how the ride is (rough, rubbing alot etc.) And if you have i would love to see some pictures of it, so I would greatly appreciate it if you can send me some to Dan@DanVarela.com. If you dont want the wheels to stick out, and dont want to spend alot of money, get wheels with an offset of 45mm+ and you should be alright with your lowered ride....although you could spend like $3k-$5k in custom wheels for a perfect fit (Asanti, HRE). I had 20" antera 309's with a 45 offset and were a perfect fit for the LS in my opinion absolutely no rubbing, but I recently bent two of them, and bought a cheap set of replacement wheels with a 35mm offset and the difference is huge... the new wheels are rubbing a bit and it sucks!!!.. Im going back to the anteras soon after I fix them.

BTW: some members here are running 20's with a 45mm offset, and theyre rides are lowered as well.

Lowered on 20" x 8.5" Foose speedsters, +45mm offset, 245/35/20 Nitto 555.
A little rubbing when the car was loaded down with 4 adults and a baby (only over big bumps).

Same set of wheels and tires(literally) non-lowered and no problems rubbing.

Mine are a 36mm offset, with 255/45 tires, and they rub.
