Hello. I am trying to get a set of 20" rims with a size 5x114mm bolt pattern, +40 Offset, 20" x 8.5" size, and 73.1mm Hub. The LS uses a 5x108 pattern and I was wondering if those size rims that I just mentioned would work on the car without rubbing the wheel well and without sticking out too far because a wheel adapter will have to be used. I was going to put them in 245/35R20 size tires as well.

The rims alone will stick out over an inch further. Now add in the space (and cost) of wheel adapters because those rims are the WRONG BOLT PATTERN, which you said yourself.
Unless they are double-drilled for 5x108 AND 5x14, they will not even slide on to the lugs.
All in all, they will probably stick out 2 inches further and rub your fenders, if not outright smash them.
