I have a 2000 dhs with 60,000 miles and for the past 3 months it has been doing some crazy things. After warm up (about 10-15 minutes of driving) the car will either stall completely or if you ar going over 30mph the car will drop out and then surge right back up. We took it to the dealer and they put it on the computer and said it was a cam sensor. They cleared the computer codes and it kept doing it. I had the computer checked again after it did it a few more times and there were no codes. I did not believe that a cam sensor could produce this problem but I gave them the benifit of the doubt. I replaced the cam sensor and it still does it. Has anyone had any experiance with this that they could help to diagnose this problem? Thanks:confused:

Rember, the cam sensor goes to the IGN module.

I'd seriously look at the igniton module and if you have a good one swap that out. It does sound like you're loosing spark.

Go to the DEALERSHIP (For your headache, ALWAYS for electrical parts please, please, please get it from the Dealership) and order one. I'm sure they have some in stock. Change it out and see if it still does it! :)
