I am a brand new newbie to this site...I own 2000 Lincoln LS V8 Sport 107,000 pleasurable miles...I have had no major problems..tires,oil&filter changes sparks etc...Now have a driver side headlight plastic cover all kinked up...looks like it needs to be cleaned on the inside...How does one get the cover off? Is there a vacuum seal?..Thanks for responding..George Campbell...Stuart,Fl

Pretty sure it can be done. However unless the problem is on the outside and the usual restoration products can be used, the inside won't likely be cost effective to do yourself.

if you have the gray sealant on the headlight then you should be able to heat it up in the oven and you should be able to pull it apart after that with some screwdrivers but if you have black sealant then it needs to be cut
