2000 ls fuel pump help!!!

Sorry I'm new and I'm sure I posted this in the wrong area, my apologies!

I removed the fuel pump but a little yellow wire came out (as seen below)

Can I mount it anywhere on the metal? I can make it reach where the bottom screw goes.

Your help is appreciated!

Did you loose the screw in the fuel tank? You can see where it is supposed to go.
