2000 ls full throttle engine stalls

ok it dont happen everytime but when im going about 40mph then i punch it the engine will stall out/ die/ it wont start till i let it sit 4 30 seconds to a minute and it smells like rotten eggs/ only when i floor it/ what can this be

I had this same problem, accept I don't remember the rotten egg thing. I think Lincoln had changed my throttle body...

I would be inclined to say its probably bad ignition coils. Is it a V6 or V8?

rotten eggs, tranny fluid .. Had that problem with the Continental when i was playing around with it.

but it never died
