This LS has a salvage title. I bought it about 4 months ago, wrecked. (You can view my gallery for before pictures). I built it back and it is all in one piece now with a new paint job. The previous engine had a broken rod and cracked block. It has been professionally replaced at the Ford dealership with another engine with 51K miles. The car itself has 47xxx miles on it. The driver airbag has been replaced, but not the passenger (I had planned on putting a DVD player in it and putting a screen in the dash where the airbag was.) Other than the dash, you'd never known it had been wrecked. All the necessary suspension components were replaced and everything is in working order except for the computer (PCM). The engine turns perfectly like it should but will not start, because the computer is not communicating with the car. The reason is I have replaced the front wiring harness with the wrong one. It has one wire different than the original one (which was sliced in the wreck), which apparently controls a vital source of the communication lines. The PCM itself may possibly be fried, but there is no way of telling until the correct wiring harness is installed. However, I have way too much money and time already invested in this car and I can't afford to invest anymore. So I am offering it for sell, taking reasonable offers. I work at the Ford dealership and my cost on the wiring harness is about $1500 new, $2000 to general public. I'm not sure how much a PCM is, but I can get it at a discounted price as well. So make me an offer ande you can expect to put probably $1500 to $2000 in it and have a running car. I can order the harness for you at the discounted price if interested. This car is fully loaded with all options, moonroof, heated seats & mirrors, rain sensor & heated windshield, traction control, etc. It is a 3.9L V8.
Please only serious inquiries only. I have a lot of money tied up in this car and I realize I can't get out what I've got in it, so I should be able to make somebody a reasonably good deal. If interested, I can email you pictures of the car, how it sits now. Just include your email address in your reply or you can email me at hytzh8n@yahoo.com
