Tonight on the way back to my friends house when I went to hit the high beams it started turning the radio out and I saw messages on the message center about lights being out in the rear. It would also do this when I turned the high beams off. I checked my ground on the car battery and it was slightly lose, so I tightened it up and so far no more power issues. But I wanted to see if this was the signs of a failing front door module because I saw 2 codes when I read the car tonight. I will edit this here in a few to tell the codes but when I cleared them out they have stayed away. Obviously I am really hoping it was the ground on the battery that caused it but I am just trying to prepare in case I need to get a used module while I am out of town.

Those are fairly reasonable symptoms of a electrical power (low voltage) issue. Often it is a failing alternator, but it could well be the loose battery cable.

I checked the voltage with Forscan to the generator and the module supply voltage. Both were moving in the 14 volt range. I will have autozone or advance auto check it more in the am with their scanner.
