Hello, Sorry to post another sway bar bushing thread but i have looked for hours, i really only see things for sport models. My car is a 2001 V8 Non-Sport and my rear sway bar bushings are very worn out, i can slide the bar side to side, i was wondering if anyone knew the size of the rear bar so i can order some aftermarket bushings, thank you very Much

Man good luck with that one. I don't i've seen where anyone on here has changed out the rear sway bar bushings. That would be a nice piece of information to know. I just did my front ones on my 01 V8 sport. But a good question to try and find out is are the front and rear sway bars the same size because if they are, then you might be in luck.

I changed the rear bushings on my 04 sport. They are quite a bit smaller than the front bushings.

Wrap a tailors measuring tape around the bar, take that measurement and divide by 3.14. That will give you the approximate diameter of the bar.

Since it appears that no one has changed the sway bar bushings on a no-sport you might want to take it to a shop and have them measure it for you. I had that problem with my front sway bar bushings. Simeone on here told me the size fir the front bushings so just to be sure i had them measured about to days ago and it checked out i have a 2001 ls6 non-sport.
