2002 Lincoln 3.9 intake and exhaust valve removal

Hello-I am a new member here looking for a little help. Is there a special valve spring tool required to depress the springs and withdraw the keepers so I can remove the valves? Also , I am looking for an engine manual. Thanks for any and all help.
