2002 Lincoln LS V-6 sport 5-speed manual. just under 125K miles (i have owned for the last 85,000+ miles). Black on Black/charcoal leather interior.
The good:
• Body and paint (except trunk lid - see below) in good shape. Interior excellent.
• Oil changes always with FULL synthetic Valvoline oil.
• January 2011: replaced sway bar & stab links
• July 2011: New set Hankook tires; new steering wheel clock spring; replaced front outer tierods
• January 2012: replaced rear tierods
• June 2012: replaced 2 front wheel hubs & swar bar bushings and front brakes & rotors
• All maintenance records and receipts kept
The bad
• Coils issue (i think) -- when punching the gas, car hesitates or "jumps" sometimes. I've been told this could be an issue with the coils. Engine and transmission are both strong.
• A/C compressor -- needs a new one, no A/C currently
• Picky, but traction control light comes on sometimes, even though traction control works. maybe a sensor reading wrong? Really only a visual nuisance when its on, but does not affect performance and off most of the time.
• Paint on trunk lid -- flaked off on few spots, no rust ... but manufacturing defect caused by oxidation or something like that.
As you can see, I've put in a lot of $$$ the past year overhauling the normal wear and tear of the suspension parts, etc. Asking $5,250 OBO.
