2002 lincoln ls.e

This car has been sitting for two years, but has been running for several years after. The ac compressor is not engaging when ac switch is on, i have checked the power going to the compressor with a probe their seems to be no indicator that their is power to it.
Is their any other option that i can check, please advice.
