2002 Lincoln Ls V8 hydraulic fan pump help!!!!

I have a 2002 Lincoln Ls with the 3.9L V8 engine and the hydraulic fan pump is bad will the hydraulic pump from a 2002 Lincoln Ls V6 work on a V8 engine?

I can only tell you that there is a different part number for the V6 pump than the V8 pump.
