So...I just replaced all 8 coils, 8 plugs, and valve cover gaskets due to 5 bad coils. Replaced all of them...as we should, and car''s been running great for two weeks. Today it overheated immediately. It did not have time to actually overheat. Checked the coolant and the fan fluid. Both were a slightly low, so I topped them off. After car was completely cool, I let it run again. Same thing...overheated in a few minutes. I scanned for codes and got P0316 Misfire at Startup, P0420 Cat sys threw 2, P1000 Dig II, P1285 Cylinder Head Overheat, P1299 Society Automotive. Really not sure what I should do. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. I thought I was done with this almost complete overhaul. I just put new rotors, calipers, and pads on it, and gave her a fresh oil change, new air filter, fuel filter, and mass air flow last week, also!! This car should love me!! Ugh!
