2002 Ss Ls?

There were a lot more than 300 SST-equipped cars built in 2002. I checked the 2002 Order Guide, and an "SS package" is not listed as a factory option. It could be an aftermarket thing, but it smells like used car salesman BS...

They could be trying to say it's an LSE, but it's not--it looks like it's lacking the spoiler, and the folights are wrong...

no such thing.

Dealers often added their own unique combo of options and then labeled it unique.

Sorry, no such animal. At least not officially from Ford or Lincoln.

I agree, it sure sounds like salesman mumbo-jumbo to create a sense of something "special" (an a guaranteed price increase).

Wrong bumper to be a LSE, Side skirt looks different too. Maybe its a Street Scene body kit, just a guess.

I just found out abou this special edition LS

Friend of mine is a used car dealer and he just called me about a 02 lincoln ls ss he just bought from an auction. He told me there is a some kind fo a badge on the car that states the car is 180 of 200 produced. Does anyone know about this special edition ss type ls being produced in small quantity?

Thanks,
Obahce

It's just a dealer option, basically means sport model. I might look into it if it said SVT or LSC but SS is a tradermark of Chevrolet.

I think it stands for SUPER SUCKER!!!!

What do u think?

This topic was brought up awhile ago. this is a dealer package. There is a badge on the dash that sates # of # made, nothing special about the LS just a badge.
