Hey guys i have a 2003 lincoln LS v8 with 94km thing is mint and I will be keeping it for a while. The colour of my car is a goldish colour. I am wondering what I should do to my car to make it a true head turner. Also do would think black rims would look good on this colour of car or should I stick to chrome?

Welcome.

This would turn heads.

Here is what I assume is your color with what looks to be black wheels. Not my cup of tea, but then if we all liked the same thing we'd all still be driving Model Ts.

Personally I prefer the chrome rims on mine, many people hate the chrome bumper trim but IMO it only looks good if you have the chrome rims to match.

Black rims are easy to pull off however I'd only get black if I had a sport model otherwise the plastic chrome trim would just look out of place.

I recently painted my calipers red and I was very pleased with the results, definitely been noticing a lot more people taking a second glance as I drive by.

I still need to do the exhaust on mine, Jaguar motors always make a nice roar at WOT but this car was designed to be quite and I'd like to hear it growl at stop lights. Adding some flashy exhaust tips would be a nice subtle touch as well.

I'd stay away from doing too much other than that personally, considering how good looking this car was from the factory.

You can get the LSE body kit for a sporty look, if you can find one that is... The side skirts and spoiler should be available on fords website (I know they are for paint code JP). Good luck finding the grille and bumpers.

Can you post any pics of your car? There's the lighter goldish-white posted above, then there's a darker metallic gold/bronze called Charcoal Grey Metallic.

I have the Charcoal Grey Metallic with the factory chrome wheels. I personally think a darker rim would look great. Have you considered a darker grey rim like titanium or gunmetal?

For reference, here's a picture of mine on a cloudy day. The metallic gold pops a lot more in the sunlight.

And here are some pictures of a slightly similar color with brushed gunmetal/liquid smoke wheels. His paint seems more brown than gold (his in sunlight looks like mine on a cloudy day), but it's the closest I could find.

Wow, that cow LS is a good one lol. It seems that LS's in Green and Red are hard to spot.

I've seen a few red ones, matter of fact my wife's aunt has a red '03 v-6 now that i think about it. I cant say i remember ever seeing a green one though.
