2003 Navigator flasher

Need help with my 2003 Navigator, my turn signal finally stop working. It would flash really fast then it will just stop flashing or it will make a lot of clicking noise and not flash at all. I finally found the flasher under the dash board but I can't figure out how the get the black box out from under the dash board. Thanks
