A friend is replacing his sc soon and offered me his sc for a reasonable price. What should I pay / what mods are necessary to completely install this on my stock 94 mark?

If you could get it for free than you could spend $5,000 to get an lower intake to match up to your Lincoln 'b' heads. Otherwise, it won't work with your stock heads.

i was told in another thread that it was essentially a direct bolt on.....this is not the case?

Nope. If it was, there would be dozens of Marks flying around sporting 400-500 rwhp. Sorry to burst the bubble. Take a look at the sticky in the MarkVIII forum about the superchargers. I have been trying to get one to happen for us for about 6 months. The biggest issue is the suppliers don't feel there is a big enough market to make it worthwhile and because of our crappy rods/pistons, half of us would blow ourselves up in the 1st week.67Continental said:

The only way you can fit that onto the Mark is with either FR500 or Terminator heads (that's 03-04 Cobra), intake, SC, etc.
You'll also have to go with custom fuel rails/ regulator, new secondary timing chains, you'll need a better radiator and custom brackets for the intercooler, the 03 timing covers and accessories (there are two belts, BTW!), relocate the alternator, IAC, relocate the IAT into the intercooler, and get all of the other parts necessary to run the supercharger.
Then after all that, you'll have to beef-up the tranny and the rest of the drivetrain and suspension. Good luck

I got an idea Geno. Why don't you pull that lower intake and then we can make a sand mold and cast 10 or 20 parts from it so we can all have blowers. Share the love.

I could do that this Winter, then you need to figure out a belt wrap or add the Cobra setup with some slight mods. Remember the SuperMark has ALOT of added tensioners and relocated accesories.
