I was wondering about the 20" 2007 Navigator rims for my 2005 Lincoln Navi....I just read on multiple websites the specs...and it says they are Chrome-clad aluminum wheels....if this is true...that's so cheap...how cheap of Lincoln to make chrome rims with such a cheap appeal. I had bought the 2006 Chrome-Clad rims and didn't know what chrome clad was...I got them in and basically it's a rim with a chrome hub cap on it....kinda gay if you ask me.Probably to be able to replace if some old guy curbs his rims... If they put a chrome hub cap on the 20" Lincoln Mark Lt version that is comming out for the 07 Navigator then shame on you LINCOLN. Cadillac throws 22's on their new Escalade and they certainly aren't CHROME CLAD...see for yourselves and let me know what you think.

WHEELS / TIRES

Machined aluminum wheels: P255/70R18 A/S BSW tires/18 in.
P255/70R18 A/S OWL tires/18 in.
Chrome-clad aluminum wheels: P275/50R20 A/S BSW tires/20 in.

look at the bottom of the page where it says wheels and tires.

I think by chrome-clad they mean a aluminum wheel that has been chromed. They do not use steel wheels stock as far as I know, hope this helps a little. The 20's on the Lt are out now and they are polished aluminum. The 20's on the new Navi (and most of the pics of the MKX) are the same only chromed.

They're making the extra chrome on the front as an option now (whew). I just don't understand the design team on the new Navi- the cross-hatch grille looks good on the upcoming MKX, but it looks terrible on the Navi.

They may offer a 350hp V-8 as well.
