Well its Mid Track season and for those who have been here a while know of my little Proud Dad threads that I've been posting over the past few years.
Youngest Daughter is now a Freshman at the University of Wisconsin Platteville and just finished her first indoor track season at the college level.
This past weekend she participated in the Indoor Season's Conference meet.
Cassie qualified in the Long Jump, 55 meters and 4 x 200 meter relay.
Her long jump well as her coach said she was a freshman... She struggled finding the board. Her best jump she took off about a foot and a half behind the mark which would have been her best jump of the year well into the 17 ft range. But she didn't finish last.
In the 55 meter dash she finished 16th out of the 24 athletes who qualified and ran a personal best time.
Her 4 x 200 meter relay team finished 5 the over all. Cassie ran 3rd and put her team in first place when she handed off.
Over all Cassie was happy as she did take home some hardware.
In this pic Cassie is in first place as she's about to hand off the batton to their anchor... The girl in red caught up to Cassie's anchor and actually hit her as they approached the finish.
