22s on a LS!

i know im going to get attacked for this thread but oh well..does anyone have 22s on there LS? i seen a couple around town in NC that look completely trashy cause of the wrong offset and the wheels poke out! Lol and see some that look sporty..but to each there own..what do u think?

a guy i work with, well actually his brother, has a 2000 black ls with 22" rims that are black, and i think it looks retarded, i would say like 19's look great and some 20s, but i got 18s and am gonna lower it soon, but like you said to each there own, so do what you think looks good

i do like the wheels though just not 22s lol
 
get ready for a sh!tty ride, torn up tranny, and f*cked up MPG. Hope the money's worth it :p
 
ive seen a couple pics of LS's with 22's... most people run 22x8 - idk why, maybe fitment issues...?...anyway, ive only seen one LS in person with 22's and i must say, those were some skinny ass tires ...there are a couple of LS's on cardomain with 22's and they look great IMO...if you can avoid the potholes - go for it! :D
 
IMHO 22's are just to big for our cars. 20's or 19's would give you your best look.
 
22's??? The rim looks good. But they r too big for an LS. I have 20's that look cool on mine but they look like 19's or 18's from what I was told. So I'd avoid them big ass truck rims lol and do 19-20. Unless u like ridin high
 
22's are to small in my opinion I would reccommend 26's pr 28's, thats just me though...
 
I put 18's on mine with a staggered fit for tire choice. Bigger in the back for a more aggressive stance set. I never really liked big rims on the LS. While the rims do look nice, you should just go ahead and buy a 1990 Cutlass Supreme and put 24's on it. Thats just my opinion, and I dont have to look at it everday...know what i mean?
 
I think 20's are about as big as one can go on a car before it starts looking like the car is on the wheels instead of the wheels being on the car. There are some nice looking exceptions like this guy:

I may be biased, I love those rims and almost got the same ones for my LS (in 20") before settling on the ones I have, but I think that guy's LS looks incredible on 22's.

20's though, bro. Good enough.

And I must say, I love the look of the LS's on here with 18's and 19's. You have options!
 
That is what is good about building the cars you own. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks as long as your happy with your choice. I took slack from everyone when I lowered my 300c srt8 and put on 24's i didn't care it was my car and i liked it that way.

I love my 22s on my LS!!! lol I've had a new set of 22s the last 3 years... waiting on my new ones to arrive so i can put them on!!! The rides great if you do it the right way!

everyone has there own opinion..wheel i ordered them today and should be here wednesday i got a 22X8 wheel so it should look clean...well get pics up soon!!

It's a nice looking wheel. Post pics asap because I am curious to see what it looks like. Love the tinted tails.

d kelly what size tires do you have on the ls ? looks good. I think some LS look good with 22's just has to be the right rim to look good on the car thats my thought
 
I tore a chunk out of my fender with 20x7.5's, if you dont lift it, your taking your whole fender off.
