When i was getting my exhuast done i was really happy like a mother givng birth happy lol and the exhaust guy said tyour car not gonna sound like a mustang because it doesnt have the HO motor in it and i said OOOOOO YES it DOEs and he said well not really so i was like watever.

First off, you've posted these (what I could only think are) questions in the wrong forum.

Second, since I don't have the inclination to decypher whatever language you used to type that in, I will have to pass on trying to help. sorry.

wrong forum, but if indeed you have a 5.0 h.o. engine in your car, then it is the same as a mustang 5.0. the only differences (might) be intake, exhaust, obviously. and possibly manifolds.

The high output engine in the Mark VIII and Mustang are exactly the same.

Meant the 7, but it had forged pistons and rods and the same E7TE heads and same cam specs as the Mustang.

Adding an MAF system would be nice. If you have the dough, AFR heads :gr_devil:

How am i the only one to understand this guy?

Hes got a MAC COLD AIR INTAKE and 40 series flowmasters. He wants more power now his 91 Mark VII got a little extra "omph"

I would do Intake & cam combo..or put heads on too if you have the cash.

How many miles are on it?

You DO have a 5.0 H.O. they were standard in all mark vii's after like 87 or 88.

No idea what the EFF "noy potatoes means"..but you CAN get a chip but they SUCK so dont buy one. Only buy one if you NEED one after have a full engine management system, etc. It does us NO good with a speed density setup and stock H/C/I.

first off where you located pasadena, ca. or pasadena, tx.

next yeah you pretty much have a full mustang drive train. youre just a little longer and heavier than a stang. cai kit is good did you remove the silencer. was the cai kit a fenderwell kit? if so good move. since you have the cai kit, and might be on a budget like we all are, i would save some cash and get a nice throttlebody and egr spacer. or if your on a budget and good with tools do some mild port work on the t/body and egr spacer. at this point with the new flow of air do some routine maintenance. and check those plugs and wires, belt, and whatnot. next thing wouild be again save some more cashola and if you can hold out for awhile open the exhaust up to compliment your intake mods. yeah you got mufflers, but they wont be a good investment unless you open up the pipes to it. if you can go ford motorsport stuff if not bbk is fine. a nice set of headers is a must. then a good hpipe or xpipe. you got mufflers. then finish off with set of tailpipes. if possible you need to go 2.5 all the way. if not 2.25 is fine. since the guy who told ya you aint got mustang parts will probably tell you you can go no bigger than 1.75 in pipes. kindly get in your car and find someone more compitent. who wants to help ya and not crush your plans. after those little mods you should feel a nice seat of the pants difference. after that a gear will most likely in order. when you get there let us know. we'll see whgat we can do for ya next.

The only real difference is Speed density and a smaller intake tube for the Lincoln compared to the Mustang.

And the car will sound SIMILAR to a Mustang, but not quite because the Mark has a little longer piping.
