255/45/17 tires

will a 255/45/17 fit on the oem wheels and does it look ok .
if somebody has pics that would be great.

I ran 245/45's on my factory 17's. I havn't seen 255's. Mine had amazing handling in the corners with those 245's.

I'm in the same boat as you right now. Sears has the Kumho's Ecsta ASX 255's on sale and they are just about the same exact diameter and just a little wider -maybe 1". Look at my thread below about tires - someone has a pic on there and you can't really tell a difference.
I'm real close to buying a set.

I've been running 255/45/17 Kumho Ecsta 712's for about 3 years now. Wouldn't do it again. The size is fine though.
