2nd gen hood cable

co-worker of my mom has a 98 LSC (same color as mine)


anyways hes got a broken hood cable. anyone encounter this? just wondering if there are any tricks to getting to the latch to release it. (ive done quite a few on rangers...cable is run under the battery) but we hardly ever have any marks come into the shop these days.

mine broke, but it broke in the sense that it wouldn't stay closed....

maybe you can reach the latch by taking off the piece with the little lip under the bumper cover
