goin down the road and came up on a nice seemed to be supd-up 300zx pulled up next to him doin about 40 gave a look heard him down shift and off......I went haha smoked you :q

all i know he down shifted real hard at took off but i slaped it in sport shift down shifted and i was gone, not sure if it was the trubo but we went for about 1/2 mile i got up to 120ish, but when i herd him down shift he definetly had some stuff under the hood.

I've noticed that for the vast majority of people 100MPH is the magic number. 101 is WAY TOO DANGEROUS. So they stop there. By the time you were at 120 I bet you blew by him.

Obviously non-turbo. I can relate, raced a non-turbo supra from a light and got about a carlength or two on it by 45. Also I believe the IS300 has the non turbo supra motor, and I've raced one of them from 50-125 because he was being a :q and wouldn't let me pass him, lets just say it wasn't too pretty on his part.

I've run a couple of TT Z cars with my Cobra. They are no match for it. Not bottom end, top end, mid range...no where. But they aren't slouches either. Not by any means. There is absolutely no way in this world my 01 V8 Sport would run with one. No way in hell. Well........maybe once....if I dropped it out of a B-52. But the finish line would be a little rough!!

Im with you Bro, I raced one on the thruway a while ago and he didnt want to deal with me. I even let him get ahead of me and when I got right behind him, he seemed to be pretty mad. Its been said already, some people have their limits regardless of what theyre driving.newnanls said:
