330 hp LOL ?

I heard the person was looking to get $25 grand out of the car. I just looked at a '98 with 32K on it for $7 grand. Am I missing something here?

I find it curious that he/she has all these pictures and not one of the front drivers seat on a collectors edition car. What gives with that?

Oops, just noticed that auction ended. $8K. About right.

That is such a joke :slam , espically for a stock car. I should be able to get that much considering I actually have things done to my car!:N

Hmmm. After a little more viewing of that auction, impressive trophy list.

I've decided to hold a car show for Lincolns on my block. We'll have it every other Saturday. All other makes and models are welcome but only my Lincoln in the 'stock' Lincoln class. That way I can win best of class every other week and have a stack of trophys which I'll donate with the car. I change the oil myself so I don't have a stack of quik-lube receipts to impress you with. You'll just have to look at some of the valve-train thru the oil cap hole in the valve cover for proof. Otherwise, just listen to the motor for any piston slap. LOL.

Just so you guys know in advance, I am gonna be asking $35K because this car is out of production. I've added up all the parts you would have to buy like engine, trans, rearend, suspension, interior, etc and there is no way a guy can put a car as nice as mine together for less. I'll accept cash and cash only. First guy with the coins gets it.
 
Bryan...in that case can we have a "White Lincoln LS w/a busted (and hence jerry rigged) right foglight assembly"? I'm thinkin I could take that one.

I have a parts car in the garage we can trade "even-up" if you like to get rid of that busted up LS.
 
Noticed it wasn't listed for sale on any of the Mark boards. I guess he didn't want to be humiliated by those in the know. The car is super sweet, but obviously his reserve is too high. Time to come back down to earth. The car may be worth $10K - $12k at the most, but that's a premium price. If he was looking for a sucker, the joke's on him.
 
His ad was laughed off the other boards. He wants $25k I believe.


All it is - is a car thats been kept very clean and has low miles.


Whats funny - is I saw a 93 Mark VIII with only 8k miles - and the guy wanted $15 k - the thing was perfect - like showroom new.
 
Do you think the uni-body could be messed up because I know 450+ pounds is alot to be getting in and out every day, also the driver seat has an indent on it that looks like this ( )( )
 
Id pay $25k for one of them new fangled Luzury cars too!

come on now, if your gonna con someone, atleast spell correctly, lol.
 
That's a really nice car, I've seen it at Carlisle, but yeah, he's got a chip and a larger MAF. No way he's getting 40 hp more from that. Some people think keeping a car clean is worth a few ponies I guess.
 
I saw this guys car at Carlisle this year as well... He didn't win CRAP!!!
DRILLER one first place in the Modified Mark VIII and My Grey 98 LSC(At the time... Now Joeychgo owns it) took 2nd!
Some dude with DVD's in the Visors took third!! So how fab it this car???
 
I believe the ad says chip and a maf. Are they enough for 40hp? I guess if you keyboard race it is.:slam
 
NO one ever said that the guy selling that car was the brightest bulb in the bin either......for those of you that know......idiot!!!!:N
