well the gears are in , but the speedo gear isn't ...lol
i hope you guys are right about it being limited to 98mph
i tried it out on our measured 1/4 mile and the limiter stops the car way befor the end
it shifts insanely hard into 2 and 3 , it actually gets sideways going into second :)
i'll find out if it is any quicker tuesday , i'm going to try to get to atco

i can't hit it till about 100-150 feet out , it just spun horribly , i tried hitting it early at the track and the 60' was way slower
haven't tried it with the 4.10's yet

4.10's all the way baby!

How is the ride while over 80 MPH ? Once you install the speedo gear, Let me know if you have any vibrations after like 85-90 mph. I would love to just install the gears, posi, speedo and be done with it. But I do know it is different on all cars, some vibrate, others don't.

driveshaft deffinetly vibrates at 3000 rpm's in od , from what i understand is about 80
it never even hinted at vibrating befor
i'm going to try to rebalance it and see how that works

anyone know if i can just unplug the speedo at the trans , the antilock has a bad sensor anyway , so i'm not worried about anti lock and traction control

Your not gonna be happy with the stock driveshaft.....Trust me.

and you CAN unhook the speedo sensor, but you lose ride height adjustability, variable power assist, and all of your mileage measurements for the info center. I know this becuse I ran my 94 w/o the VSS after the T45 swap.

The 93's dont needa calibrator. You just swap the speedo drive gears in the transmission. I forget which ones you need, but i'm sure someone can fill that in. The only reason I needed a calibrator was because i used a new style T45 that uses a magnetic pickup sensor. The 94 computer could'nt read it correctly.

i've been told to use the white gear , but they wear out from what i've read

Speedometer Gear Install

If you got new gears like 4.10s or 3.73 you will need a new speedometer gear, or if you decide to get some Dubs.

The correct speedometer can be found using this http://www.sccoa.com/faq/speedgr.html

The right tools for the job will make this a breeze, it took me about 10 minutes my first time through.
- A flat blade screwdriver
- Quarter inch ratchet
- A quarter inch extender
- 7/8 quarter inch socket

Once the car is raised, refer to the lift points already in the tech section.
Locate the gear, which is on the left side and is near the tail shaft.

Once you find it remove the 7/8 bolt, I sprayed some PB blaster on it to ease it out easier you don’t have to. Once you have removed the bolt, use the screwdriver to sort pry the gear out. Once it is out you can disconnect the wires going to it. Then you may transport the housing inside to a workbench.

Now that you have found a clean surface to work on use the screwdriver again to remove the c-clip that holds on the gear

Once the clip is off remove the green gear, may need a little force. Then slide on the new gear and reinstall the clip. Make sure the clip is on right and working by tugging on the gear gently.

Now simply put it back in the transmission and bolt it down, and then connect the wires.

I have pictures and such just ask if you need more info
