I took this out of our Manual as I was looking to find out if we have 4 wheel or 2 wheel ABS. The reason is that my back brakes are squealing again! I just had the front and back brakes replaced and rotor s turned. If I press harder on the barkes, the squeal goes away. But I shouldn't have to press harder on the brakes to avoid the squeal. I read that the brakes are self adjusting. Maybe the back brakes aren't adjusted right. I only feel the front brakes reacting and not the rear. I've tried to get the rear abs to work on ice but couldn't. Anyone hae any thoughts on this?

Using ABS
² In an emergency or when maximum efficiency from the four wheel
ABS is required, apply continuous force on the brake. The four wheel
ABS will be activated immediately, thus allowing you to retain full
steering control of your vehicle and, providing there is sufficient
space, will enable you to avoid obstacles and bring the vehicle to a
controlled stop.

each wheel has a ABS sensor and can be applied indepedantly if the traction control feature sees fit.
