Im goin with the 40 series muffler for the 03-06 LS. anyone know the size? center offset etc. i dont know what that means. does anyone know the size and offset the car needs? (only replacing the mufflers)

'00-'02's were 1 7/8" or 2" inlets into the mullfers... I think the 03+'s were a bit larger but not sure. Measure the diameter of the pipe right before it enters the muffler. If it's 1 7/8" a 2" muffler will fit... if the pipe is 2", then you'll need a 2.25" muffler. The muffler will need to be offset inlet, offset outlet and be oriented on it's thin edge (standing on it's side).

You should definitely upgrade to 2 1/2 in. I'm doing 40 series flowmaters with my 01 LS...got em off EBay...perfect condition...very cheap
