the northstar, the lexus sc400/sc430 4.0L/4.3L i think, nissan has a dohc v8 in Japan, i think Honda too, they just never brought them over, also ferrari engines are dohc, i think im right, thats all i can think of right now
Depends on what you mean exactly. The only 4v "mod" motors are made by Ford. Modular is a name given to them by Ford, has to do with the way that they are made. If you mean 4 valve per cylinder DOHC V8s, the list goes on and on. BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin are a few more (the latter 3 all having engines based on Jag's AJ engine series).
my friends toyota 4-runner has a V8 4.7L DOHC! and i whipped him upstairs once i shifted from 1st to 2nd gear, he was 4 cars behind me until we both let up! i do not know why i am telling you a race story...lol fahgettaboutit!
