I stock 2000 lincoln ls except for aftermarket nav. I just put in:) Anyways if you had an extra 500 bucks to spend on your car what would you buy?

I would like to get one mod exhaust, intake or xcalibrator2. But VERY hard to decided. Which one would you guys get first? Plan on getting all 3 later, but just spent alot on the dvd+ nav.

Any reply would be great

thanks guys

I have all three of those mods. So far the Xcal2 is the best performance mod I have done. I have not used the intake though yet. Haven't had the car in three weeks. Exhaust is a great sound but the Xcal from Torrie is the best money I have spent so far.

Just spent $525 for an intake and HID conversion kit for my 03 LS V8. Just hope there's no issues with using the K&N kit meant for the T-Birds.

Thanks i got the lse grill on mine but looking for the ls grill that is a 2 piece so i can make the full chrome grill. Did you guys notice a huge differnce with the xcal? I have read alot about the xcal and Torrie. How do i contact him? how much was it?

$399 for the Xcal2

Contact him here-http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com

I found him very easy to deal with and will send you a tune anyway you want. Best money I have spent. Keep in mind that you never really see or hear it though. The exhaust will give you the sound but the Xcal2 will give you more power.

Fenders rolled, tint, new bulbs.... I could think of many things.

how hard is it to use Xcal2?? i think i would screw with my timing and blow up my engine... thats the only thing holding me back

You plug the xcal in and push a few buttons. Torrie sends it with 3 tunes built for the LS. Each with a little more power built in. If you have mods he can build you a custom tune of your own. He also solved the SST problem for us that have converted to it which allows us to start in 1st gear.

Well I just fired torrie an e-mail and looks like I am going to get the xcal ASAP hopefully he ships to Canada. Anyways thanks for the advice you guys are great.

I sure will. Also still want to get the intake. But the big debate for me is KKM or K&N. After I decided then I will have to find the best price. Does anybody know if after I get a new intake system, will I have to get a new tune? for the xcal2???

Ordered the xcal2 last thursday and came in today. Excited to go and pick it up. But i have to wait till tomorrow, cause i missed the delivery today. :(. Plus i have to pay my extra bill $74.76 for stupid canadian postal service my taxed tax. Sometimes i really love this country and thier stupid taxes! Anyways going to do a couple runs with out and a couple more with it in and see if there is any diff. on the G-tech. can't get to a track so i guess its the next best thing. Ill post results. Have a good weekend. EH!

I'd go with the KKM and an intake tube from www.lskoncepts.com:D

LS Monk are you trying to get rid of your LSE grill for the stock 2 peice? If your willing to trade me for my stock grill and some cash I'm down.

4LINCOLNSDOWN is your grille 100% chrome. If so will talk but I just bought the lse from the dealer for $214 Can. I bought the other one too. But it came as a 1 piece soooo.....know I am looking to complete the all chrome grille job. If you lived closer I would just buy you the lse brand new and switch you. Brand new for used. Can't beat that.

Not unless yours is the 100% chrome grille 4lincolnsdown. I just paid $214 can. for this one. I don't think a used grill is worth that much To trade for plus money (speaking fairly) . But if you want to sell it throw me a price. Price the lse grille around your area. And give me a shout back.

What three tunes would you-all suggest for a stock '03 V8 Sport with just the K&N mod?

Just talk to torrie @ www.fastpartsnetwork.com. Tell him the mods that you have done and he will give 3 good tunes.
If you do a search for the xcal2. Alot of people deal with him and have had good luck. We don't exactly know alot about the tunes. Just that they work. Im happy and I have only had it for a week.

I had thought about fuel adjustment, spark adjustment, MAF selection, and fuel injection selection. I'm not positive about the MAF selection - maybe the shift adjustment, instead. I know these choices would add another $50 to the cost if I choose four tunes, but I just want to get it all at once.

I really don't plan on doing much to my vehicle:
change to slotted and drilled rotors and better pads,
better tires and chrome wheels,
chrome upper and lower grille,
add chrome strips to my bumpers and door pillars,
maybe some window tint,
the K&N True Rev, of course, but that's about it.

I am also looking for some new rims. Really like the factory 2005 rims 8 spoke polished. If anybody knows of any please let me know. thanx

okie finally had some go weather out to run some times. I was using a gTech for my times and I was getting 14.758 as my best run (1/4 mile) with 6.53 for 0-60ft.It was 66 degrees out. (A little damp because we were expecting more damnran). I was running 94 octane. fuel with the performance tune programmed. Other times where 14.8 and 14.9. But all an all I would say the 14.8 was my time.

With the stock tune back in I was getting about 15.1 -15.3. But the tempearture was 70 . I belive was kina of damp out that too.

The gTech also said that my car had 270hp. I kind of laughed, cause thats about what it should have.

Anyways quick question for you guys would damp wheather affect it much?
