5spd swap

Hi all my friends mark trans just took a :q:q:q:q already. He wants to do the 5spd convserion but needs a list of all the parts and the steps to install it.

...not an easy project. 94M5 is the guy to talk too.

I'd be interested in knowing if he'd be interested in assembling and selling a kit, or doing the conversion as a professional service- and what he would charge to do it.

Ok sounds like hes gonna go cheap and just do a newer gt trans. I told him not to beat on the car until i did the jmod and new trans fluid and filter... now it doesnt wanna go into gear and just revs then finally catches.

is it just low on fluid?

nope... i put a half quart in it and it got worse.... and the dipstick read full

give it time, youll just rev and not catch in about 2 weeks.

ha he broke it already took 1 day... im keeping an eye out for low mileage 4r70w trans from new mustang gts.
