82 sedan deville dash

I'm brand new to this forum. I just recently got my father-in-laws 82 deville after he passed on. The dash is cracked and I wanted to replace it. I undid the 6 screws but it won't come off. Any one have any experience with the removel process. Thanks in advance.

On my 80dev. there are also screws in the defroster vents(look from outside
windshield to def, vents), there is also a screw under dashboard between steering column and underside of dashboard,and then the fun one,remove glove box liner for last screw ,there is one more there ,same placement as steering column one,let me know how you make out. Creeket
