84 Harley Sportster repaint

This is a bike i just repainted last weekend for my buddy Reb. he has done ink on me in the past and i traded this paint job for a tattoo that i'm going in for wed after work. this bike was originally black but Reb really has a thing for blues so i went with 96 viper blue mica. i went to see him tonight at his tattoo shop and talk to him for the first time since the bike was painted, i painted it but a friend of ours put it back together after i painted it, so tonight was the first time i talked to him since it was given back to him and he loves it, he was really happy with it, i never showed him the color, he just wanted a cool shade of blue and he said i picked the right shade! so guess thats a good thing lol. anyway, here it is, everything that is blue now, is what i painted.

you really like that color... if I ever get a 95-96 LSC I'm gonna have you paint it that color!
 
well its not so much i really like it, i do, but i had some left, and his tank was already blue, since the black pics were taken, someone punched his tank and made a huge dent, so he got a new tank and it was blue already, and almost exactly the color blue that i painted it, so i got more viper blue and wet sanded the tank since it was new and needed no body work, and resprayed the tank too when i did everything else. the blue i sprayed is just way heavier on metallic than the paint that was on the tank already. but yes i do love the color and i still want to paint a mark VIII that color.
 
i dont think he is your best friends dad, he only has one daughter and he's only 39!! i was wrong on the year too its an 88 not an 84!
 
thanks he loved it and has some more work for me to do after he buys some new parts for it! more ink!!!!
