I've got an 89 continental and while replacing the air struts with standard shocks I smashed the abs sensor on the drivers side. I called the dealership and they said they can't get it anymore to try napa. I called napa and they said they have it for 8x-87 and 90-94? What no 88-89!? So I called the dealer to see if the 90-94 sensor will work. The guy at the parts center said they have a different part number and he couldn't tell me for sure if it would fit or not.
Napa has to special order for the part so if I order it I can't return it. I certainly don't want to spend $80 to find out it won't work. I'm hoping and praying someone here can help me out on what to do.
I also don't know how to get the sensor off, I got it so its only attached to the wire and housing, but I don't know how to get it out of the housing. I figured I'd look at the new one and work from their. But if someone knows that would be great also.
