88 T-Bird on it's way to the Grave

Sad news First everyone is OK, but on Friday my wife parked the T-Bird into a Guard Rail. It was snowing and roads were icy. She hit it doing about 35 mph.

It's not damaged bad but not worth repairing. I may be looking for a T-Bird body to put the 302 into. Engine is in great shape and very solid.

I've found some nice bodies on eBay but not ready to purchase yet. If anyone comes across a nice T-Bird body or one with a dead engine let me know.

Glad nobody got hurt. You have to change the wiring harness, computer, TCs were analog gauges, others weren't, tranny differences, etc. Would need to keep the wreck as a donor to convert everything, been there done that. Easier to find another V-8 car to swap it into.

What color was the car, hows the interior, how bads the damage?

Just the front Fiberglass is boken. Interior is fair. I paid only $250 for the car in Nov. of 04 here are some pics 88 T-Bird Thread

The car has dings and doesn't look as good a the pics show. When it's wet it does shine!

Well before you let the junk yard have it for practically nothing, let me know. Still have some parts laying around for those. Actually I have a complete 88TC body, pretty beat thou. Even a header, its got a chunk missing from it if I recall right, it probably be saveable. Got a few of the 83-86 bodies too.

Or you could forget about the motor because its not an ho. I would personally like to put a dohc mk8 motor+trans into a foz body.
