I was driving normally, then noticed the front passenger side of the car felt unusually high, pulled over and sure enough there was a huge gap between the tire and the wheel well. The air suspension light came on in the control pannel, I shut off the suspension via the switch in the trunk. ITs been 24 hours, and the right passenger side is still not releasing air. when the switch is on i can hear pump working but front passenger strut is still "jacked" up. Can anybody give me a clue???????

1st.. the compressor runs when it need to fill a corner or the rear end. if venting is called for, the compressor don't run.

It sounds like there are 2 main possibilities... but a question first. do all the airstruts hold air properly??? none are leaking???

If so, then you probably have a bad vent valve in the compressor (get new compressor/dryer assy), The dryer may be shot allowing moisture into the system.

Also may have a bad height sensor/wiring to a height sensor..
if its a bad height sensor/wiring, the computer could be trying to lift that corner only.

:I Usual cause of abnormal ride height are height sensors. But check the bags for leaks first of course, and make dsure there is'nt any moisture in them. Moisture in the bags wears out the dryer and will definately cause abnormal ride haight.
