I need to replace my window motor but do not wish .to break anything in the process .is there a step by step?

Thanls

Pop off the small red/white light cover at the bottom of the door panel and remove one screw. Then carefully pry off the window switch cover, behind that is a bolt..can't remember the size but remove that and grab the pull handle and lift upwards and the door panel should come off..then unplug all wiring harnesses.

Also, just a side note. Do you know for a fact that your "motor" is bad? When you push the window switch, can you hear the motor running but not moving the window? If that is the case, all you need is a $6 bushing kit to repair the motor itself instead of spending some God-awful amount of money on a new motor. Just take the motor apart, clean out all the little disintegrated bushing particles, and install the three new bushings and you're good to go. Now if the motor is gone and doesn't work at all, then you need a new motor, obviously. :)

For the people who don't want to mess with that they can go ahead and spend the extra $29 as well.
