we have recently replaced all four struts, solenoids, compressor and dryer.
our problem is that the compressor does not want to air up the bags. we can hear the compressor running for approx 2-3 minutes and then shut itself off. what little air does go into the bags if any seems to leak out. we have tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting and this does not help. all this has been tried while on the ground or with the frame raised and neither seems to be effective. the vehicle is currently stuck on the ground with the lift underneath and cannot be moved. any suggestions you can give would be appreciated.

assuming the compressor is actually good (able to produce enough air pressure to do the job, around 150 psi needed to fully raise front), their has to be an air leak.

either the vent valve (inside compressor) is rusted open (common), or you didn't get an o-ring in properly, or air line isn't sealing at the dryer or solenoids.

the system is very simple mechanically.. compressor supplies air to the solenoids thru the dryer and air lines, and thats about it.. nothing fancy in the system at all.
