94' Still full of small problems

I love my car, really I do.
It's just so full of small irritations I sometimes wonder if its worth the time and money.
Today I filled up with both Oil and Gas, went through the wash and all of a sudden my blower didn't work. I'm not sure why it would have failed but it did. Now when I turn the car on I hear a hiss and a pop (I think this is normal because of the way the climate control work on air hoses, though I could be wrong) and then I get nothing. Ideas?
Also yesterday I went for groceries and when I went to start the car I got a headlamp warning on the dash, I checked and indeed the front passenger headlight was off. So I flicked on my brights and drove home, later on I went out for supper and the headlight was working fine. I'm perplexed by this and I don't know what to say.
Furthermore I still have leaking bags at the back which I cant afford to replace at the moment and I haven't decided whether I'll go with air again or convert. Most people here say to stay with the air but few seem to have converted so I don't know if its really going to be a difference in the ride. When I contacted those who sell the bags I was told they were out of stock, I'll try again and see what they say.
And finally I'm still having trouble with "low oil" and "Check Engine" yet I've done the DCL tuneup twice! I've posted about this before and to all those who read it the first time, I'm sorry. I'm just frustrated with my car at the moment and am venting all the trouble its given me lately.
Such is the way of buying a 13 year old car though.

Lots of little nagging problems lurk with 13 yr old cars.

good news is, once they are all ironed out, they shouldn't show up again for another 13 yrs!.

check DCL, I have a 90%+ fix on those, but its a lot more involved than what the DCL tuneup is. take the cluster out of the car, and go thru the steps for tuneup. then take the cluster apart, and resolder the pins on the backside of the pc board that the 2 (or 3, depending on your cluster) black connectors that the wiring harness plugs into. that will fix the DCL and oil/temp indicators.

The blower motor not working.. check your coolant level. there is a temp sensor in one of the heater hoses that will lock out the blower motor until the engine warms up enough. if ya get an air bubble, that can keep it from working.

the headlight.. did you check the connections on the bulb?? dirty connections will cause the lights to fail intermittantly.

I've deducted that the blower problem (the most pressing issue as we enjoy -30 nearly daily here) is electrical.
When I started it this morning the blower worked fine but then when I dropped it into gear it cut out. It then cut in and out repeatedly while driving mostly when I hit bumps.
Does anybody have an idea as to where I might check the connections first?

There is always the possibility of loose/corroded connections in the following places (as well as others I am forgetting about)

1: back of the EATC unit
2: the temp sensor in the heater line (under hood)
3: speed control module for the blower (mounted on heater assy I believe, but might be accessable by removing glove box)
4: of course also at the blower motor itsel (also I believe it accessable by removing the glove box)

I am sure I am forgetting some, but those are a place to start.
